Quest Nutrition Giveaway!
I know you read the word ‘Giveaway’ in the title of this blog post and all you want to know is how to enter….but I’m going to make you read my new recipe first ;) It’s worth it, I promise! It’s Quest Protein Chip-Crusted Zucchini Sticks, bar food meets clean eating.

I can’t count how many times I’ve mentioned Quest Bars on this blog before because I genuinely love them so much. If you’ve tried them, then you understand the love. If you have not tried them (I haven’t persuaded you yet, huh?), then today is your lucky day. :) Quest has generously agreed to send one reader a prize package of its products, which you can read about below this recipe!
Quest Nutrition is all over social media with fun, healthified recipes that take typically-sinful desserts like cinnamon rolls and cheesecake and make-over the recipes into clean, guilt-free treats :) I’ve made several myself, though the easiest is by far the Quest Bar Crunchies – which apparently you like too….it’s been in the Top 10 Strong Like My Coffee posts in the last year!
Since the Crunchies were such a hit, I thought I would feature another recipe using Quest Protein Chips. The Quest Bars are certainly sweet-tooth killers, but these chips are for those salty, crunchy cravings. My efforts to create a simple, healthy version of a bar food snack resulted in this golden goodness:
These baked zucchini sticks have six ingredients and replace traditional greasy battered breading with crispy toasted protein-packed chips, spices and a hint of parmesan cheese. One tray made three servings, which were gone in a hot minute.
Macro/Nutrition Breakdown: 1 serving
- 112 calories
- 8 grams carbohydrates (predominantly from the zucchini)
- 3 grams fat
- 15 grams protein
- 2 grams sugar
- 2 medium zucchini
- 2 eggs whites
- 1 Tbs black pepper
- 1 Tbs garlic salt
- 1/4 cup freshly-shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1 bag of Quest Protein Chips (I used sea salt flavor), crushed
1.) Preheat oven to 425 degrees; place a cooling rack on a baking sheet.
2.) Rinse zucchini; cut into thirds, then quarter each third.
3.) Beat egg whites in a small dish; set aside.
4.) In another small bowl, combine pepper, garlic, cheese, and crushed chips.
5.) Using a fork, dip each zucchini stick into the egg whites then into the breading mixture. Place on the cooling rack.
6.) Bake for 22 minutes, until golden brown and crispy.
7.) Best enjoyed immediately! :)
This would be a super quick snack to throw together if you’re having friends over, as an appetizer, or as a side dish.

These chips are such a good idea – I will definitely have to try them with the quest nutrition protein chips! (unfortunately they aren’t sold in New Zealand though so I will have to wait for my next iHerb order!!) But my favourite snack in the WORLD is a banana with a spoon of natural homemade peanut or almond butter. I know its not that exciting but there could never be a better combination! It feels sinful every time I have it as it tastes so good! But there are worse things to snack on I guess :) Love your page! xxx
My favorite indulgence is hands down mozzarella sticks! I know they are terrible, but any special occasion I try to work them into the menu!

Mini chocolate covered s’mores! I’ll make them for special occasions and put them in the freezer to enjoy on a warm Southern summer night ☺️ so indulgent but so decadent!

I love zucchini and this is soooo much better than the ‘bar style’. I will be trying these in the coming days. Thank you for such a great option. My go to indulgence would have to be raspberry zingers! Can’t hardly find them anymore, but they are soooooo good!!
I want to make these so badly – they look and sound fantastic and when I serve them people will think I’m a badass chef!! I love dipping graham crackers in a tub of chocolate frosting.
Brookside’s Dark Chocolate Covered Acai and Blueberry Candy all the way. I may or may not have singlehandedly kept the company in business my freshman year of college… :)

I’ve never seen these protein chips before but that is such a good alternative to a high-carb snack! If you could “healthify” peanut butter cup ice cream, my life would be made.

I really love chocolate so chocolate quest Bars are a perfect way to enjoy chocolate without cheating! I also make my own protein bars with vita fiber and try new flavours like banana and oats with chocolate every time. But a questbar thats ready to eat saves much time especially after my workouts. I love to combine them with coffee or tea to relax and enjoy

This is a MUST try – my family loves deep fried zucchini when we go out and I would feel so much better serving this up vs the fried version. Will add to my weekly menu. I do love the Quest bars myself too – new choco mint has become my favorite! Indulgence would be oreos – ALL flavors in milk.

My favorite sinful snacks are the chocolate hostess cupcakes! The ones with the chocolate glaze and cream filled center! So yummy, but definitely not healthy haha. Would love to see a healthified version! Quests bars are great substitute for a sweet treat though :)
There are so many snacks in the world that I love to treat myself to every once in a while. My most favorite indulgance would have to be vanilla frozen custard with hot fudge. I’m from Las Cruces, NM and there is a locally owned business called Caliche’s. To whomever reads this, be sure to stop by one day and try it out! :) this is the one treat I will allow myself to have and not worry TOO much about my macros.

Ok…my favorite sinful snack…have SO many!! Ice cream (mint or chocolate malted cruch are proabably my favorites), Rice Krispie Treats (I could eat an entire batch!), and oreo cookies dipped in milk….Really, I could go on and on…and not ONY sweets…but they are my thing..
My favorite sinful snack is definitely gelato. I love the Talenti ones- they are pint-sized and therefore, I think they’re a personal size :)

Lucky Quest provides deliciousness for most of our sinful cravings!! Favorite sinful snack would have to be a funnel cake (please find a way to make it happen) :) with powdered sugar and sprinkles.. Or a Churro!!!

I can not stop eating ice cream sandwiches! I tell myself it’s okay because it’s just vanilla and a think chocolate outside, but I still know it’s not good for me! What can I do to replace this addiction?

The Reeses PB cup ice cream cake from baskin robins. I get a huge slice of this every year on my birthday. I’m still a kid. I had a choice to go to an expensive restaurant or bask in robins back in ’08. I still believe I made the right decision in life. Whenever I try to go back for seconds the whole cake somehow disappears. If you haven’t tried this, you must. I still get it even when it’s not my birthday, but on that day the serving size is more lethal haha. It’s my crack. Trust me, one bite of this and you’re hooked. I should just write a love poem. And when you do try it, thank me later 😉🍮💕

Cheesecake! or cake in general. gosh my love for cheesecake is too strong for me, especially when i work in a restaurant and I can easily see it everyday. But i may say i’ve lessen my intake despite the temptations! :)
I loooove peanut butter cup ice cream especially Ben and Jerry’s with some cookies or brownies on top is life I could eat the pint!
